Gente, quando for escolher uma academia - se essa for sua opção em atividade física - leve em consideração tudo. É preciso sentir-se bem para que o tempo que se passa lá seja agradável. Nada muito diferente do que já tinha recebido nos médicos que já tinha ido, nas revistas com dietas (com excessão das dietas sem noção - da Lua, da Sopa; e das dietas específicas - só proteínas, zero carboidrato...)&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;Então, por que será que dessa vez deu certo?&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;Que boa pergunta, hein?&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;Eu pensei muito antes de respondê-la pra mim mesmo. Aliás, no começo da mudança alimentar, eu fazia hidroterapia duas vezes por semana, para a recuperação do meu tornozelo. Mas ainda não era uma atividade física voltada para o emagrecimento...&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;- Sim, Gustavo. Mas dieta é muito chato! O que me chateava era a impressão de que sempre falavam a mesma coisa: "Gustavo, você tá muito acima do peso. Precisa emagrecer."&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;Aquilo me cansava. "Hã? Você acha que estou acima do peso? Meu espelho também acha, minha mãe reclama e minha vó então..."&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;Fazia um tempão que eu não ia. E no começo de 2010, ainda na cadeira de rodas pra sair de casa, lá vem a senhora minha mãe decretando: "Tem mais consultas marcadas pra gente, viu (eu já tinha passado pelo cardiologista) A próxima é com um endócrinologista." Eu respondi prontamente: "EU NÃO VOU." Ela: "Vai sim, bla bla, pressão alta, bla bla, o filho da minha colega perdeu 40kg, etc etc etc..." (Bla bla no sentido mais amoroso que se possa apresentar.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;Fui lá. E lembrei que naquele dia tinha oftalmo também. Fiquei na sala de espera e o médico aparece, dizendo que ia trocar para uma sala reserva, pois para chegar na dele teria que subir escadas. Eu estava distraído e quando ele falou comigo no primeiro momento, achava que ele era o oftamologista. Já dentro da sala, depois de explicar a trama do pé imobilizado, ele veio com as perguntas chaves: peso, altura... Ficha caiu, né?&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; font-family: Verdana,sans-serif; text-align: justify;"&gt;Todo torto pesei-me, mediu-se e olha só o resultado: eu precisava emagrecer! Em um passo em falso, meu pé virou e eu senti uma dor estúpida. Desci para o camarim, coloquei gelo e fiz a peça todinha morreeeendo de dor. E no final ainda tinha que vestir salto alto e dançar. Fui direto pro COT, imobilizaram meu pé e passaram exames.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Resumo da obra: entorse, rompeu ligamento, não pode pisar. Passei o reveillon na cadeira de rodas. Só ia pra fisioterapia e pro shopping (na cadeira). Mas aqui tem um ponto super importante. Nos momentos em que eu estava "andando" com muletas, eu percebi o quanto estava &lt;b&gt;pesado&lt;/b&gt;. Tanto que só as usava para distâncias curtas mesmo. Imagina aquele peso todo apoiado em uma perna só?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;E quem tentava me ajudar gente? Empurrando a cadeira, tentando dar apoio... Eu estava muito gordo e ficando cansado até de ficar em pé parado.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Este vídeo abaixo foi gravado quando eu já tinha melhorado bastante. Estava com o pé imobilizado pelo robofoot e fui ao aniversário de uma amiga.&amp;nbsp; Para subir as escadas, a melhor solução foi sentar e subir de "bundinha". E na adolescência fui gordo de verdade. Mas  quando entrei na faculdade em 2007, por causa da correria da vida  acadêmica, ensaios teatrais, estágios e tudo o que parece acontecer  simultaneamente, eu me descuidei demais da saúde.&lt;/span&gt;   &lt;span style="font-family: verdana;"&gt; Cheguei em um determinado momento em que eu só almoçava nos fins de  semana. De segunda a sexta eu lanchava rápido para conseguir chegar nos  lugares. Ou atrasava o lanche para o meio da tarde. E durante a noite, estudando em casa ou preparando trabalhos e planos de aula, a &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;geladeira &lt;/span&gt;era  consultada com a mesma frequencia que consulto o Google.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="color: black; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;Eu comia lanches da &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Mc'Donalds&lt;/span&gt;, &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Habib's &lt;/span&gt;e &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Burger King&lt;/span&gt; duas vezes na semana, no mínimo. Na rua ou pedindo por telefone - e neste caso, quando eram entregas em domicílio piorava a situação: quando eu pedia Habib's, eram pedidos que davam para alimentar uma tropa. Então, além de exagerar nos petiscos antes de dormir, dava pra passar alguns dias com esta "dieta árabe"!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;Entretanto, meus exames de rotina não eram assustadores até então. É claro que ser obeso já é preocupante, mas não era o caso de taxas super fora de referência. Até que em 2010...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;Em uma consulta com cardiologista, ele receitou remédio para controle da hipertensão. Uma herança que recebi da minha avó paterna e de toda minha família materna. Eu já tinha tido picos de pressão alta, mas estavam sempre relacionados à situações pontuais. Mas neste ano concluiu-se que eu andava com a pressão descontrolada mesmo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;A sensação de tomar remédio para pressão todo dia de manhã era angustiante. Não, não. Ou a pergunta é resultado de algum encontro com uma pessoa que não vejo há certo tempo  e percebe que emagreci bastante (e imediatamente pressupões que fiz uma cirurgia) ou quando relato pra qualquer pessoa que perdi 46kg (marca de hoje) em 5 meses. E a pergunta vem naturalmente da meeesma forma.&lt;/span&gt;  &lt;span style="color: black; font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sim. Eu escrevi certinho sim:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: black; font-family: verdana;"&gt;46kg em 5 meses.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="color: black; font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Quarenta e cinco quilogramas em cinco meses.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;  &lt;span style="color: black; font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Vamos lá: eu pesava 128kg e apresentava obesidade grau III (só vai até o III viu gente? É obesidade mórbida) e hoje peso 82 e tenho o chamado sobrepeso (muito mais legal de falar em hein?)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 180%; font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;span style="color: #660000;"&gt;- 46kg em 5 meses?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;Essa é a segunda pergunta que vem quando a minha resposta sobre a cirurgia é não. Dita com um tom de voz um pouco mais elevado.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;Daaaí, com todo esse espanto, resolvi registrar em forma de blog. E o quê? Pra quê? Como?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;A minha intenção não é de forma alguma uma bandeira contra a cirurgia de redução de estômago. Nem tenho conhecimento para tal. Só resolvi expor que existem formas de emagrecer sem a bariátrica (e todos nós sabemos disso, mas agora eu fui o sujeito da ação).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;Também não intento formular manuais, estratégias... não sou nenhum especialista. Quero dialogar sobre o assunto. É como se fosse um diário mesmo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;Para isso, nas próximas postagens vou contando aos poucos a trajetória até agora. Depois, sigo relatando novas mudanças e conquistas.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;Enfim. Isto tudo é principalmente pra dividir a alegria de sentir-se bem.
